Laos & Thai FOOD
Personally I’ve never had a mixture of these two amazing foods before and I finally got my taste of this goodness! If you’re in the Charleston area and looking for some amazing Laos and Thai food this pop-up food vendor is it! Saplai Charleston boast of great lemongrass chicken wings as well as a variety of different noodle dishes. You also won’t break the bank to feed your family or yourself for lunch or dinner! Make sure to follow @Saplaichs on Instagram and Facebook to see where they will pop up at to get your local asian food cravings. I went to their pop up at @containerbar Charleston owned by local resident and celebrity Bill Murray. If you haven’t definitely check it out. Their bar is super cool and modern and is made of shipping containers! How cool is that? Also they do have local drafts and IPA’s and happy hour menus! Different food trucks come in and out of this area that also has free parking! Unlike the rest of downtown Charleston this place has a parking lot! That’s one of the greatest features for restaurants and bars to have downtown. More about the food though…it’s seriously finger licking good and amazing paired with a cold Stella on a hot day in Charleston. Let me take you on a tastebud tour in 3, 2, 1…. The chef at Saplai Charleston has fused her Laos and Thai experiences and culture to create a food pallet that is robust in flavors and sauces.
Do you want 10% off your order at Saplai Charleston?

Pictured to the left are several dishes. We ordered the Lemongrass chicken wings, Sweet Soy glass noodles, Bean Thread Noodles, the Thai Beef salad, Egg Rolls (because no asian meal is complete without egg rolls in my family), and the Drunken Noodles. Each dish can be substituted without a protein or with any protein of choice (chicken, shrimp, or beef).
