Easy Peasy Meatloaf
Are you in a crunch sometimes to make dinner for your family especially with a family and a full time? This takes about 30 minutes to cook and 5 minutes to prep so here you go, I hope you like it!
Ingredients:
– 1.5 lbs of ground beef (lean)
– 1 white onion chopped
– ketchup
– BBQ sauce
– Sage Seasoning
– chili seasoning
– parsley flakes
– Cumin Seasoning
– 2 eggs scrambled
– Panko bread crumbs
Preparations:
- preheat the oven to 450 degrees
- in a large mixing bowl add meat and beaten eggs
- add in 1/4 cup of bbq sauce
- add 1/4 cup of ketchup
- add 2 tsp of chilli powder and cumin
- add 1 tbsp of parsley and sage
- add in 1/2 cup of panko bread crumbs
- add in 1/2 of diced onions
- mix all together and place into a rectangular baking dish and shape it out
- in a separate bowl mix 1/4 ketchup with 1/4 bbq sauce and using a brush to brush on top of finished meatloaf
- place into oven to bake for 25 minutes with foil covering
- take out and remove foil and bake for another 20 minutes and then done!
Best Served With
I usually serve this with a side of mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables. For example steam some green beans in a pot and make some mashed potatoes if you’re in a hurry and or are tired buy one of those premade boxed mashed potatoes or the flakes of mashed potatoes! Another east way to make baked potatoes in poke holes in the potatoes and microwave them for 2-3 minutes and voila you’ve got yourself a full meal and hopefully leftovers!
